ExpenseWatch.com Expands Sales Team
Plymouth Meeting, Pa. – April 20, 2006 – ExpenseWatch.com expanded its sales team by recruiting John Neri as vice president of direct sales, and promoting Marie Floria to vice president of strategic partnerships.
John Neri has a proven track record for leading successful sales organizations and brings new creative strengths to the team. He will be responsible for growing, managing, and retaining ExpenseWatch.com’s direct sales channels while increasing the company’s revenue opportunities.
- “In order to meet the requirements of our growing customer base, we needed to find someone who was resourceful and organized, with experience in meeting high-volume and quality-critical sales goals,” said Bill Vergantino, executive vice president of operations.
- “John not only meets all of our criteria, but is also exceptionally skilled at market analysis and targeting areas of highest return—two areas of focus that are critical to direct sales.”
Most recently, Neri was director of sales, Eastern region, with Relicore, where he was responsible for revenue generation within the Eastern US, Canada, and Europe. Before that, he was senior director of North America sales for Acta Technology prior to Acta being acquired by Business Objects, Inc. He holds a masters in business administration from LaSalle University.
Along with the addition of Neri, key executive Marie Floria has been promoted to the position of vice president for strategic partnerships. Floria will be instrumental in supporting the increasing demands of strategic partnerships on the sales team.
- “Marie has always been a critical member of the organization,” Vergantino said.
- “As the top individual sales revenue contributor for ExpenseWatch.com to date, Marie was instrumental in helping ExpenseWatch.com nearly triple its year over year billings for first quarter 2006. In her new position, she’ll leverage her channels background, and direct sales experience at ExpenseWatch.com, to lead the company’s efforts to merge ExpenseWatch.com competencies with complementary offerings and expand to new markets.”
Floria has more than 20 years experience with mid-market sales, including account management, application training and consulting. She successfully managed a customer base as account manager for SAP, and recently held the position as the EDS channel manager working for Ariba.
